### sec.74 Terms
A licence remains in force—
for a licence of a kind prescribed under a regulation—for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in the regulation; or
for a licence held by a prescribed licensee—until the licence is suspended or cancelled; or
otherwise—for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in the licence.
An accreditation certificate remains in force for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in the certificate.
An approval remains in force for the term stated in the approval.
However, for an approval to acquire or approval to relocate, the term must expire on or before the expiry of the term of the possession licence under which the radiation source the subject of the approval may be possessed.
A radiation safety officer certificate remains in force for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in the certificate.

- (c) otherwise—for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in the licence.
