### sec.49 Who may apply for Act instruments
Any person may apply for the following Act instruments—
a possession licence;
a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance other than by road;
an approval to dispose.
An individual, and only an individual, may apply for the following Act instruments—
a use licence;
a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance by road;
an accreditation certificate;
a radiation safety officer certificate.

A possession licensee, and only a possession licensee, may apply for the following Act instruments—
an approval to acquire;
an approval to relocate.

(sec.49-ssec.1) Any person may apply for the following Act instruments— a possession licence; a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance other than by road; an approval to dispose.
(sec.49-ssec.2) An individual, and only an individual, may apply for the following Act instruments— a use licence; a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance by road; an accreditation certificate; a radiation safety officer certificate.
