### sec.49 Who may apply for Act instruments Any person may apply for the following Act instruments— a possession licence; a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance other than by road; an approval to dispose. An individual, and only an individual, may apply for the following Act instruments— a use licence; a transport licence that allows the transport of a radioactive substance by road; an accreditation certificate; a radiation safety officer certificate. See also section 103K in relation to persons who are taken to hold a use licence or a transport licence.
