### sec.34J Application for approval of transport security plan
An application for approval of a transport security plan must—
be made to the chief executive; and
be in the approved form; and
be accompanied by—
the proposed transport security plan; and
if the applicant is a possession licensee whose security enhanced source is to be transported between locations for the licensee’s radiation practice—the licensee’s licence; and
the fee prescribed under a regulation.
The chief executive must consider the application and either grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
The chief executive may grant the application only if the chief executive is satisfied the plan is adequate for the transport of the security enhanced source to which it relates, having regard to the requirements for a transport security plan mentioned in section 34H (2) .

(sec.34J-ssec.1) An application for approval of a transport security plan must— be made to the chief executive; and be in the approved form; and be accompanied by— the proposed transport security plan; and if the applicant is a possession licensee whose security enhanced source is to be transported between locations for the licensee’s radiation practice—the licensee’s licence; and the fee prescribed under a regulation.
(sec.34J-ssec.2) The chief executive must consider the application and either grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
(sec.34J-ssec.3) The chief executive may grant the application only if the chief executive is satisfied the plan is adequate for the transport of the security enhanced source to which it relates, having regard to the requirements for a transport security plan mentioned in section 34H (2) .
- (a) be made to the chief executive; and
- (b) be in the approved form; and
- (c) be accompanied by— (i) the proposed transport security plan; and (ii) if the applicant is a possession licensee whose security enhanced source is to be transported between locations for the licensee’s radiation practice—the licensee’s licence; and (iii) the fee prescribed under a regulation.
