### sec.173 Presiding at meetings
The chairperson is to preside at all meetings of the council at which the chairperson is present.
If the chairperson is not present at a meeting of the council, but the deputy chairperson is present, the deputy chairperson is to preside.
If the chairperson and deputy chairperson are both absent from a meeting of the council or the offices are vacant, a member chosen by the members present is to preside.
(sec.173-ssec.1) The chairperson is to preside at all meetings of the council at which the chairperson is present.
