### sec.143 Failure to give name or address
A person of whom a personal particulars requirement is made must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if—
the person was required to state the person’s name and residential address by an inspector who suspected the person had committed an offence against this Act; and
the person is not proved to have committed the offence.
