### sec.141 Orders to secure compliance with notices
This section applies if the chief executive considers a person to whom an inspector has issued an improvement or prohibition notice has not complied with the notice.
The chief executive may make application to the District Court for an order that the person comply with the notice.
The court may make the order sought or any other order it considers appropriate in the circumstances.
The person must comply with the court’s order, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
Subsection (4) does not limit any other liability a person may incur for a contravention of the order.
(sec.141-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive considers a person to whom an inspector has issued an improvement or prohibition notice has not complied with the notice.
