### sec.118 Additional power after entering public place under s 111 (1) (b)
This section applies to an inspector who enters a public place under section 111 (1) (b) .
The inspector may install and maintain any equipment and materials in or at the place the inspector reasonably requires for conducting a monitoring program to assess—
the degree of exposure of any person to radiation emitted from radioactive material or a radiation apparatus; or
the amount of radiation emitted from radioactive material or a radiation apparatus during a particular period.
A person must not interfere with the installed equipment or materials without the consent of an inspector.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —100 penalty units.
(sec.118-ssec.1) This section applies to an inspector who enters a public place under section 111 (1) (b) .
