### sec.100 Obligations on surrender of radiation safety officer certificates
Subsection (2) applies if—
a person surrenders the person’s radiation safety officer certificate under section 99 ; and
immediately before the surrender takes effect the person is a radiation safety officer for a radiation practice; and
at the time of surrender, the person is not also the possession licensee who, under the licence, possesses a radiation source for the practice.
The person must as soon as practicable after the surrender takes effect give written notice of the surrender to the possession licensee who appointed the person as a radiation safety officer for the practice.
Maximum penalty for subsection (2) —10 penalty units.

- (c) at the time of surrender, the person is not also the possession licensee who, under the licence, possesses a radiation source for the practice.
