### sec.63 Council’s first budget This section applies to the council’s budget under section 44. The period for the council’s first budget starts on the commencement and ends at the end of the financial year in which the commencement occurred. Despite section 44(1), the Minister and the council may agree on a time in which the council must prepare the budget and give it to the Minister for approval.
