### sec.37 Other matters
The appointed members under section 13 (2) (a) are the co-chairpersons of the veterans’ reference group.
A person holds office as a member of the group for the term, not longer than 2 years, stated in the person’s instrument of appointment.
Subsection (2) does not prevent a member of the group being reappointed.
A member of the group is not entitled to remuneration.
A person stops being a member of the group if the veterans’ organisation that nominated the person gives the Minister a notice stating the person no longer represents the organisation.
The group is to conduct its business and hold meetings in the way the council considers appropriate.
