### sec.28 Presiding at council meetings
The chairperson is to preside at all council meetings at which the chairperson is present.
If the chairperson is absent from a council meeting, the member chosen by the members present is to preside.
A member does not become the chairperson of the council merely because the member presides at a council meeting under subsection (2) .
(sec.28-ssec.1) The chairperson is to preside at all council meetings at which the chairperson is present.
(sec.28-ssec.2) If the chairperson is absent from a council meeting, the member chosen by the members present is to preside.
(sec.28-ssec.3) A member does not become the chairperson of the council merely because the member presides at a council meeting under subsection (2) .
