### sec.12 Powers
The council has all the powers of an individual and may, for example—
enter into contracts or agreements; and
deal in land or other property; and
appoint agents and attorneys; and
engage consultants or contractors; and
charge a fee for services or facilities it supplies; and
accept a gift of property to the Fund, deal with property of the Fund that is not in the form of money and pay money into the Fund; and
do anything else necessary or convenient to be done in the performance of its functions.
The council also has the powers given to it under this Act or another Act.

- (f) accept a gift of property to the Fund, deal with property of the Fund that is not in the form of money and pay money into the Fund; and
- (g) do anything else necessary or convenient to be done in the performance of its functions.
