### sec.44 Notice about declaration of acquisition land As soon as practicable after land is declared to be acquisition land, the authority must— give each owner of the land a notice that— states the land is subject to section 100 ; and states the entity that, under the section, may be required to acquire the land; and includes information about how the section affects the owner’s dealing with the land; and give the registrar of titles notice of the declaration. A notice given under subsection (1) must include particulars of the land subject to the declaration. The registrar of titles must keep records that show the land is subject to the declaration. The registrar of titles must keep the records in a way that a search of the freehold land register will show the land is subject to the declaration.
