### sec.29 Functions of board
The functions of the board are as follows—
to set the strategic priorities for the authority;
to make recommendations to the Minister about—
priorities for community infrastructure, other property and community services needed for the protection, rebuilding and recovery of affected communities; and
the need for the declaration of declared projects and reconstruction areas;
to ensure the authority performs its functions and exercises its powers in an appropriate, effective and efficient way.
- (a) to set the strategic priorities for the authority;
- (b) to make recommendations to the Minister about— (i) priorities for community infrastructure, other property and community services needed for the protection, rebuilding and recovery of affected communities; and (ii) the need for the declaration of declared projects and reconstruction areas;
