### sec.16 Restrictions on powers of trust
Section 14 has effect in relation to the trust subject to any restrictions expressly imposed under this or another Act.
Section 14 also has effect in relation to the trust subject to any restrictions expressly imposed by—
any relevant strategic or operational plan of the trust; or
any relevant directions given to the trust under section 15 by the Minister.
The trust contravenes this section if it—
exercises a power contrary to a restriction mentioned in subsection (1) or (2) ; or
does an act otherwise than in pursuance of its functions.
The exercise of the power mentioned in subsection (3) (a) , or the act mentioned in subsection (3) (b) , is not invalid merely because of the contravention.
An officer of the trust who is involved in the contravention contravenes this subsection.
An act of the officer is not invalid merely because, by doing the act, the officer contravenes subsection (5) .
The trust or officer of the trust is not guilty of an offence merely because of the relevant contravention.
In this section—
officer , of the trust, means—
a member; or
the director; or
an employee of the trust.

(sec.16-ssec.1) Section 14 has effect in relation to the trust subject to any restrictions expressly imposed under this or another Act.
(sec.16-ssec.2) Section 14 also has effect in relation to the trust subject to any restrictions expressly imposed by— any relevant strategic or operational plan of the trust; or any relevant directions given to the trust under section 15 by the Minister.

(sec.16-ssec.7) The trust or officer of the trust is not guilty of an offence merely because of the relevant contravention.
