### sec.43 Annual report The council must include in its annual report prepared under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 , section 63 for a financial year, information about— the functions performed by the council during the financial year; and how efficiently and effectively the council has performed its functions during the financial year. The information mentioned in subsection (1) may include statistics. The report must not be prepared in a way that discloses confidential information. In this section— confidential information means information, other than information that is publicly available— about a person’s personal affairs or reputation; or that would be likely to damage the commercial activities of a person to whom the information relates; or that is contained in— a report given under section 18 ; or a notice given under section 19 .
