### sec.28 Procedures for making determination In making a determination, the tribunal— may inquire into, and inform itself, of anything in the way it considers appropriate; and may seek and receive written or oral statements from any entity it considers appropriate; and may act with as little formality as it considers appropriate; and must have regard to effective and efficient processes in carrying out its functions; and is not bound by the rules of evidence. - (a) may inquire into, and inform itself, of anything in the way it considers appropriate; and - (b) may seek and receive written or oral statements from any entity it considers appropriate; and - (c) may act with as little formality as it considers appropriate; and - (d) must have regard to effective and efficient processes in carrying out its functions; and - (e) is not bound by the rules of evidence.
