### sec.198 Local governments prescribed under the pre-amended Act, s 112
This section applies to a local government that, immediately before the commencement, was prescribed by regulation for the pre-amended Act, section 112.
The requirement under section 112(a) for the local government to identify places of cultural heritage significance in its planning scheme does not apply to the local government until the earlier of the following happens—
the local government amends its planning scheme under the Planning Act;
the local government reviews its planning scheme under the Planning Act;
the local government makes a new planning scheme under the Planning Act.

(sec.198-ssec.1) This section applies to a local government that, immediately before the commencement, was prescribed by regulation for the pre-amended Act, section 112.
