### sec.188 Continuing appointment of assessors
This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement, was an assessor.
Despite the repeal of section 38 of the pre-amended Act, the person continues as an assessor—
under section 38 of the pre-amended Act for the purposes of inquiring into, and reporting on, objections mentioned in section 186; and
on the terms and conditions decided by the Minister.
Subsection (2) applies to the person until 1 year after the commencement unless the person sooner stops being an assessor.

(sec.188-ssec.1) This section applies to a person who, immediately before the commencement, was an assessor.
(sec.188-ssec.2) Despite the repeal of section 38 of the pre-amended Act, the person continues as an assessor— under section 38 of the pre-amended Act for the purposes of inquiring into, and reporting on, objections mentioned in section 186; and on the terms and conditions decided by the Minister.
