### sec.164A Evidence
In a proceeding for an offence against this Act, a certificate purporting to be signed by the Minister stating any of the following matters is evidence of the matter—
a place or thing is in Queensland waters;
a place is in a stated protected area.
In a proceeding for an offence against this Act, a certificate purporting to be signed by the chief executive or the chief executive officer of a local government stating any of the following matters is evidence of the matter—
a stated document is—
a copy of a part of, or an extract from, the Queensland heritage register or the local government’s local heritage register; or
an order, decision or requirement, or a copy of an order, decision or requirement, given or made under this Act; or
a notice, or a copy of a notice, given under this Act; or
a record or document, or a copy of a record or document, kept under this Act;
on a stated day, a stated person was given a stated notice, order or requirement under this Act.

(sec.164A-ssec.2) In a proceeding for an offence against this Act, a certificate purporting to be signed by the chief executive or the chief executive officer of a local government stating any of the following matters is evidence of the matter— a stated document is— a copy of a part of, or an extract from, the Queensland heritage register or the local government’s local heritage register; or an order, decision or requirement, or a copy of an order, decision or requirement, given or made under this Act; or a notice, or a copy of a notice, given under this Act; or a record or document, or a copy of a record or document, kept under this Act; on a stated day, a stated person was given a stated notice, order or requirement under this Act.
- (a) a place or thing is in Queensland waters;
- (b) a place is in a stated protected area.
- (a) a stated document is— (i) a copy of a part of, or an extract from, the Queensland heritage register or the local government’s local heritage register; or (ii) an order, decision or requirement, or a copy of an order, decision or requirement, given or made under this Act; or (iii) a notice, or a copy of a notice, given under this Act; or (iv) a record or document, or a copy of a record or document, kept under this Act;
- (i) a copy of a part of, or an extract from, the Queensland heritage register or the local government’s local heritage register; or
- (ii) an order, decision or requirement, or a copy of an order, decision or requirement, given or made under this Act; or
- (iii) a notice, or a copy of a notice, given under this Act; or
- (iv) a record or document, or a copy of a record or document, kept under this Act;
- (b) on a stated day, a stated person was given a stated notice, order or requirement under this Act.
- (i) a copy of a part of, or an extract from, the Queensland heritage register or the local government’s local heritage register; or
- (ii) an order, decision or requirement, or a copy of an order, decision or requirement, given or made under this Act; or
- (iii) a notice, or a copy of a notice, given under this Act; or
- (iv) a record or document, or a copy of a record or document, kept under this Act;
