### sec.161 Who may appeal
This section applies to the following persons—
the owner of a place who is given, or is entitled to be given, an information notice under section 54 (3) about a decision of the council;
a person who is given, or is entitled to be given, an information notice under section 56 (2) about a decision of the council.
The person may appeal to the Planning and Environment Court against the decision.
To remove any doubt, it is declared that—
for a decision on a heritage recommendation for an application to enter a place in the Queensland heritage register as a part of a State heritage place, the person may appeal only about the decision relating to the part; and
for a decision on a heritage recommendation for an application to remove part of a State heritage place from the Queensland heritage register, the person may appeal only about the decision relating to the part.
