### sec.159 Failure to comply with personal details requirement
A person of whom a personal details requirement is made must comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
For subsection (1) , a person has a reasonable excuse if—
the requirement is given because the authorised person giving it suspected the person to whom the requirement was given has committed an offence against this Act; and
the person to whom the requirement is given is not proved to have committed the offence.

(sec.159-ssec.1) A person of whom a personal details requirement is made must comply with the requirement unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
(sec.159-ssec.2) For subsection (1) , a person has a reasonable excuse if— the requirement is given because the authorised person giving it suspected the person to whom the requirement was given has committed an offence against this Act; and the person to whom the requirement is given is not proved to have committed the offence.
