### sec.156 False or misleading statements
A person must not state anything to an authorised person that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular.
Maximum penalty—500 penalty units.
In a proceeding for an offence against subsection (1) , it is enough to state that the statement made was, without specifying which, ‘false or misleading’.
