### sec.47 Notice of investigation
The authority must give written notice of the requirement for the investigation to—
the government agency; and
the responsible Minister for the government agency; and
the complainant.
The notice must be given a reasonable period before the authority starts the investigation.
The authority may also give notice of the investigation to any other person the authority considers appropriate.

(sec.47-ssec.1) The authority must give written notice of the requirement for the investigation to— the government agency; and the responsible Minister for the government agency; and the complainant.
(sec.47-ssec.2) The notice must be given a reasonable period before the authority starts the investigation.
(sec.47-ssec.3) The authority may also give notice of the investigation to any other person the authority considers appropriate.
