### sec.18 Request for declaration
The authority may ask the Minister—
to declare a government business activity, whether or not it is a significant business activity, to be a monopoly business activity; and
For this part significant business activity is defined in the dictionary in schedule 2 as a significant business activity of a local government.
if the declaration is made—to refer the monopoly business activity to it under section 23 or 23A .
