### sec.150E Authority must decide whether to make ruling
If the authority receives an application for a ruling, it must—
decide whether to make the ruling stated in the application; and
if it decides not to make the ruling—give written notice of its decision and the reasons for the decision to the prescribed person who applied for the ruling.
