### sec.29 Calculating number of storeys of building— Act , s 67WE For section 67WE (4) of the Act , the number of storeys of a building is calculated by excluding 1 storey of the building if more than 50% of the floor area of at least 1 storey of the building is designed to accommodate motor vehicles. If a building has 3 storeys containing residential units and another storey of which more than 50% of the floor area is designed to accommodate motor vehicles, the number of storeys of the building is 3.
