### sch.6-sec.67 Direction to rectify before making decision on claim
This section applies if—
the commission is given notice of a claim for assistance; and
the commission is of the opinion the residential construction work the subject of the claim is defective or incomplete.
Before deciding to allow or disallow the claim, the commission must decide whether to give a direction to rectify or remedy the work under section 72 of the Act .
(sch.6-sec.67-ssec.1) This section applies if— the commission is given notice of a claim for assistance; and the commission is of the opinion the residential construction work the subject of the claim is defective or incomplete.
(sch.6-sec.67-ssec.2) Before deciding to allow or disallow the claim, the commission must decide whether to give a direction to rectify or remedy the work under section 72 of the Act .
- (a) the commission is given notice of a claim for assistance; and
- (b) the commission is of the opinion the residential construction work the subject of the claim is defective or incomplete.
