### sch.6-sec.64 Demolition, rectification or reinstatement without approval
A consumer for residential construction work is not entitled to claim assistance in relation to the work if the consumer does any of the following without the prior written approval of the commission—
demolishes the built work;
rectifies the work;
reinstates the built work.
See section 67 (2) .
In this section—
approval does not include the following—
a decision of the commission about the scope of works to be carried out to rectify residential construction work or reinstate built work;
a decision of the commission to grant an application for an owner-builder permit.
(sch.6-sec.64-ssec.1) A consumer for residential construction work is not entitled to claim assistance in relation to the work if the consumer does any of the following without the prior written approval of the commission— demolishes the built work; rectifies the work; reinstates the built work. See section 67 (2) .
(sch.6-sec.64-ssec.2) In this section— approval does not include the following— a decision of the commission about the scope of works to be carried out to rectify residential construction work or reinstate built work; a decision of the commission to grant an application for an owner-builder permit.

- (b) rectifies the work;
