### sec.44A Consideration of application for permit
The commission must consider the application and either grant, or refuse to grant, the application.
However, before deciding the application, the commission may, by written notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to give the commission, within a reasonable period of at least 14 days stated in the notice, further information or a document the commission reasonably considers is needed to decide the application.
The applicant is taken to have withdrawn the application if, within the stated period, the applicant does not comply with the requirement.
The commission may extend the stated period at the request of the applicant.
