### sec.38A Receipt of fee does not revive licence
This section applies if, despite the cancellation or suspension of a licence under this Act, other than a suspension under section 38 (1) , the commission accepts the payment of an amount purporting to be the licence fee for the licence.
The licence does not stop being cancelled or suspended merely because of the commission’s acceptance of the payment.
Subsection (2) applies whether or not the commission gives a receipt for the payment.
