### sec.20G Term of appointment
The commissioner holds office for the term, not more than 3 years, stated in his or her contract of employment.
However, a person’s appointment as commissioner ends if, during the term of the appointment, the person becomes disqualified under section 20E .
Although the board may, at any time, remove a person appointed as commissioner, the removal does not affect any rights to compensation to which the person is entitled under his or her contract of employment.
