### sec.18 Resignation
A member may resign by signed notice given to the Minister.
Also, a member may resign the office of chairperson or deputy chairperson by signed notice given to the Minister.
The resignation takes effect—
on the day the notice is given; or
if a later day is stated in the notice—on the later day.
A person resigning from the office of chairperson or deputy chairperson may continue to be a member.

(sec.18-ssec.1) A member may resign by signed notice given to the Minister.
(sec.18-ssec.2) Also, a member may resign the office of chairperson or deputy chairperson by signed notice given to the Minister.
(sec.18-ssec.3) The resignation takes effect— on the day the notice is given; or if a later day is stated in the notice—on the later day.
