### sec.113 Double jeopardy
The fact that disciplinary action has been taken against a person under this Act does not affect the liability of that person to be prosecuted, convicted and punished for an offence arising from the same circumstances.
The fact that a person has been prosecuted and convicted or acquitted of an offence against this Act or the Builders’ Registration and Home-owners’ Protection Act 1979 does not affect the liability of that person to disciplinary action under this Act.

(sec.113-ssec.1) The fact that disciplinary action has been taken against a person under this Act does not affect the liability of that person to be prosecuted, convicted and punished for an offence arising from the same circumstances.
