### sec.105O Power to require particular information
This section applies if an investigator reasonably suspects a person has committed an offence against a relevant Act.
The investigator may require the person to state the person’s name, date and place of birth, residential address and email address.
The investigator may also require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person to—
be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address; or
otherwise be able to give the evidence.
When making a personal details requirement, the investigator must give the person an offence warning for the requirement.
A requirement under this section is a personal details requirement .

(sec.105O-ssec.1) This section applies if an investigator reasonably suspects a person has committed an offence against a relevant Act.
(sec.105O-ssec.2) The investigator may require the person to state the person’s name, date and place of birth, residential address and email address.
(sec.105O-ssec.3) The investigator may also require the person to give evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address if, in the circumstances, it would be reasonable to expect the person to— be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address; or otherwise be able to give the evidence.
(sec.105O-ssec.4) When making a personal details requirement, the investigator must give the person an offence warning for the requirement.
(sec.105O-ssec.5) A requirement under this section is a personal details requirement .
- (a) be in possession of evidence of the correctness of the stated name or residential address; or
- (b) otherwise be able to give the evidence.
