### sec.19 Provision for trusts
For this chapter, a trust is taken to be—
an entity; and
a managed investment scheme and a designated body under the Corporations Act .
For applying a provision of this Act in relation to a trust—
if the provision imposes an obligation in relation to the trust, the obligation is taken to be imposed in relation to each trustee of the trust acting in that capacity; and
if the provision refers to consent given by the trust, the consent must be given by each trustee of the trust acting in that capacity; and
if the provision requires a document to be given to or by the trust, the document must be given to or by a trustee of the trust.
(sec.19-ssec.1) For this chapter, a trust is taken to be— an entity; and a managed investment scheme and a designated body under the Corporations Act .
(sec.19-ssec.2) For applying a provision of this Act in relation to a trust— if the provision imposes an obligation in relation to the trust, the obligation is taken to be imposed in relation to each trustee of the trust acting in that capacity; and if the provision refers to consent given by the trust, the consent must be given by each trustee of the trust acting in that capacity; and if the provision requires a document to be given to or by the trust, the document must be given to or by a trustee of the trust.
