### sec.85 Discharge of enforcement debtor’s liability to registrar and employer’s liability to enforcement debtor
If an employer deducts an amount under this division from the earnings of an enforcement debtor—
the enforcement debtor is, to the extent of the amount deducted, discharged from the enforcement debtor’s liability to make payments to the registrar; and
the employer is discharged from liability to pay the amount to any person other than the registrar.
- (a) the enforcement debtor is, to the extent of the amount deducted, discharged from the enforcement debtor’s liability to make payments to the registrar; and
- (b) the employer is discharged from liability to pay the amount to any person other than the registrar.
