### sec.277 Commissioner
Subject to this Act, the current commissioner continues in office as the Human Rights Commissioner until the end of the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment.
A reference in a document to the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner is, unless the context otherwise permits, taken to be a reference to the Human Rights Commissioner.
In this section—
current commissioner means the person who, immediately before the commencement, was the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner.

(sec.277-ssec.1) Subject to this Act, the current commissioner continues in office as the Human Rights Commissioner until the end of the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment.
