### sec.263H No address for service advised
This section applies if the address for service of a relevant party for a complaint is not known—
because of the relevant party’s failure to comply with a requirement for advising an address for service; or
because the relevant party is a respondent, and has not yet been notified under section 143 .
The relevant party’s address for service is taken to be—
for an individual—the individual’s last known place of business or residence; or
for a body corporate—the body corporate’s head office or its principal or registered office.
For subsection (1) (a) , a relevant party’s failure to comply with a requirement for advising an address for service includes a respondent’s failure to advise the commissioner of the respondent’s address for service after receiving a notice under section 143 .

(sec.263H-ssec.1) This section applies if the address for service of a relevant party for a complaint is not known— because of the relevant party’s failure to comply with a requirement for advising an address for service; or because the relevant party is a respondent, and has not yet been notified under section 143 .

(sec.263H-ssec.3) For subsection (1) (a) , a relevant party’s failure to comply with a requirement for advising an address for service includes a respondent’s failure to advise the commissioner of the respondent’s address for service after receiving a notice under section 143 .
- (a) because of the relevant party’s failure to comply with a requirement for advising an address for service; or
- (b) because the relevant party is a respondent, and has not yet been notified under section 143 .
- (a) for an individual—the individual’s last known place of business or residence; or
- (b) for a body corporate—the body corporate’s head office or its principal or registered office.
