### sec.172 Commissioner may extend time limits
The commissioner may extend a time limit specified in this part for the doing of anything (whether by a party or the commissioner) if the commissioner is of the reasonable opinion that—
the extension will not cause undue hardship to any party; and
there are reasonable grounds for granting the extension.
In this section, a reference to a party in relation to a representative complaint includes a reference to a class member for the complaint.

(sec.172-ssec.1) The commissioner may extend a time limit specified in this part for the doing of anything (whether by a party or the commissioner) if the commissioner is of the reasonable opinion that— the extension will not cause undue hardship to any party; and there are reasonable grounds for granting the extension.
(sec.172-ssec.2) In this section, a reference to a party in relation to a representative complaint includes a reference to a class member for the complaint.
- (a) the extension will not cause undue hardship to any party; and
- (b) there are reasonable grounds for granting the extension.
