### sec.138 Time limit on making complaints
Subject to subsection (2) , a person is only entitled to make a complaint within 1 year of the alleged contravention of the Act .
If a complaint is made more than 1 year after the alleged contravention of the Act , the commissioner must decide—
to accept the complaint, but only if the commissioner is satisfied the complainant has shown good cause; or
otherwise—not to accept the complaint.
Subsection (2) applies subject to section 141A .

(sec.138-ssec.1) Subject to subsection (2) , a person is only entitled to make a complaint within 1 year of the alleged contravention of the Act .
