### sec.129 Advertisement for claims and payment
The public trustee may, at such times as the public trustee thinks fit, cause advertisements to be published in such newspapers as the public trustee considers suitable, requiring any person having any claim in regard to an estate under administration, whether as creditor or beneficiary or otherwise, to send to the public trustee particulars of such claim on or before a date to be fixed in such notice.
After the date fixed by the notice or the last of the notices to be published, the public trustee may distribute or otherwise deal with the estate under administration having regard only to the claims made, whether formally or not, of which the public trustee has notice at the time of distribution and the public trustee shall not, in regard to any part of an estate so distributed or disposed of, be liable to any person of whose claim the public trustee had no notice at the time of the distribution or disposal.
