### sec.117ZZ Protection from liability for board members A board member does not incur civil liability for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this part. If subsection (1) prevents civil liability attaching to a board member, the liability attaches instead to the State. This section does not apply to a board member who is a prescribed person under the Public Sector Act 2022 , section 267 .
