### sec.117M Failure to help inspector A person required to give reasonable help under section 117L (3) (e) must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—40 penalty units. If the requirement is to be complied with by the person giving information, or producing a document (other than a document required to be kept by the person under this Act), it is a reasonable excuse for the person to fail to comply with the requirement, if complying with the requirement might tend to incriminate the person. s 117M ins 1997 No. 9 s 68 (sec.117M-ssec.1) A person required to give reasonable help under section 117L (3) (e) must comply with the requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
