### sec.12K Education and training
The chief executive officer of a public service agency must ensure that public officials of the agency are given access to appropriate education and training about public sector ethics—
as part of an induction program; and
at regular intervals during the officials’ employment.
The education and training must include education and training about the following—
the operation of this Act;
the application of ethics principles and obligations to the public officials;
the contents of the approved code of conduct for public service agencies;
the rights and obligations of the officials in relation to contravention of—
the approved code of conduct for public service agencies; and
any approved standard of practice.

(sec.12K-ssec.1) The chief executive officer of a public service agency must ensure that public officials of the agency are given access to appropriate education and training about public sector ethics— as part of an induction program; and at regular intervals during the officials’ employment.
(sec.12K-ssec.2) The education and training must include education and training about the following— the operation of this Act; the application of ethics principles and obligations to the public officials; the contents of the approved code of conduct for public service agencies; the rights and obligations of the officials in relation to contravention of— the approved code of conduct for public service agencies; and any approved standard of practice.
- (a) as part of an induction program; and
- (b) at regular intervals during the officials’ employment.
