### sec.285 Effect of Act on State
Subject to subsection (3) , this Act binds the State.
A person who employs another person under this Act employs the person as the authorised agent of the State.
The right or power of the State recognised at common law to dispense with the services of a person is not abrogated or restricted by any provision of this Act.
