### sec.282 Delegation of chief executive’s functions
The chief executive of a public service entity may delegate the chief executive’s functions under this Act or another Act to an appropriately qualified person.
The chief executive of a public sector entity other than a public service entity may delegate the chief executive’s functions under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
A delegation of a function may permit the subdelegation of the function.
If a function is performed under another Act, the power to delegate or subdelegate the function is subject to the other Act.
(sec.282-ssec.1) The chief executive of a public service entity may delegate the chief executive’s functions under this Act or another Act to an appropriately qualified person.
(sec.282-ssec.2) The chief executive of a public sector entity other than a public service entity may delegate the chief executive’s functions under this Act to an appropriately qualified person.
(sec.282-ssec.3) A delegation of a function may permit the subdelegation of the function.
(sec.282-ssec.4) If a function is performed under another Act, the power to delegate or subdelegate the function is subject to the other Act.
