### sec.193 Giving direction
The Minister may give a direction to any of the following entities—
the commissioner;
the council;
the chairperson of the council.
The direction may require the entity to give the Minister a report about the performance of the entity’s functions or any matter relating to public sector employment the Minister considers appropriate.
If the direction requires the entity to give the Minister a report as mentioned in subsection (2) , the direction must—
be in writing; and
state the reasonable period within which the entity must comply with the direction.
The direction may be as general or as specific as the Minister considers appropriate.
(sec.193-ssec.1) The Minister may give a direction to any of the following entities— the commissioner; the council; the chairperson of the council.
