### sec.159 Application of division 2 or 3 by regulation
A regulation may provide—
that division 2 or 3 is to apply to a public sector employee employed in a public sector entity; and
for the way in which division 2 or 3 is to apply, including, for example, that it applies with or without change.
If a regulation is made under subsection (1) , the regulation must identify each of the following to which the regulation applies—
the public sector entity;
the head of the entity;
the employees of the entity.
A regulation may prescribe anything necessary or convenient to be prescribed—
to enable a regulation under subsection (1) to be made; or
to carry out or give effect to the regulation; or
because of the making of the regulation, including, for example, the portability of employment rights and entitlements.
(sec.159-ssec.1) A regulation may provide— that division 2 or 3 is to apply to a public sector employee employed in a public sector entity; and for the way in which division 2 or 3 is to apply, including, for example, that it applies with or without change.
