### sec.141 Excluded matters not industrial matters
An excluded matter, or a matter affecting or relating to an excluded matter, is not an industrial matter for the Industrial Relations Act 2016 .
However, subsection (1) —
is subject to section 155 (6) ; and
does not apply for a dismissal of a public service officer who is employed on a permanent basis; and
has no effect on the Industrial Relations Act 2016 , section 471 .
Without limiting subsection (1) , an industrial instrument does not apply to a person who holds an office mentioned in section 140 (1) (b) .
In this section—
industrial matter see the Industrial Relations Act 2016 , section 9 .
(sec.141-ssec.1) An excluded matter, or a matter affecting or relating to an excluded matter, is not an industrial matter for the Industrial Relations Act 2016 .
(sec.141-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) — is subject to section 155 (6) ; and does not apply for a dismissal of a public service officer who is employed on a permanent basis; and has no effect on the Industrial Relations Act 2016 , section 471 .
